This display case showcases many of the Black businesses that at one time flourished and many that are flourishing today.  Two of the more memorable businesses were Weaver’s Restaurant and Club, gaining lots of popularity among soldiers stationed at Fort Knox after WWII and Colonel Hawk’s Restaurant, often catering to celebrities and VIP’S from all over the country.  These are just a couple of businesses along with others that that have made their mark among the business climate of our City and County.
