Welcome to the the historic city of Bardstown, Kentucky, the second oldest city in Kentucky, established in 1780. Bardstown has been referred to as the Bourbon Capital of the World and in 2012 was named the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America" by Rand McNally and USA Today. It is the home of the first two story Brick Church built west of the Appalachian mountains, presumably by slaves in 1812.
